Singapore Van Gogh Alive-The Exhibition, prepare to be shocked!

My friend Glenn sent a new update post on a social networking site, he was in Singapore, "I was at Raffles Place!" Yes, he was there and within a business visit and also traveling around. Immediately I thought good as well when asked to set the time to visit an exhibition held in the Marina Bay Sands, The Artscience Museum. Ongoing theme of an exhibition of Dutch painter's masterpiece, Vincent Van Gogh. For a moment he was puzzled, but then understood, Van Gogh!

Imagine an exhibition room is the room a row of paintings on display with the frame and the frame work of painters covered the walls of the room. So roughly. But be prepared to be surprised. A famous quote from the painter attached to the wall outside the room, "A good picture is equivalent to a good deed" All right, stepping foot into the dark atmosphere of the room dim, the faint sound of classical music softly playing, welcomes anyone who would stepped inside. All right, keep stepping into the main gallery, is still too vague, dark.

Slowly then be visible light from the projector lamps provide some form of images one by one across the room, walls, roof and all parts of the room without exception. A different way of presenting the painting! Van Gogh painting is highlighted by the light projected onto the entire wall section. Wow..! The Organizers have a brilliant idea in the presentation of a work of painting, especially the famous Van Gogh!

They combine some elements of multimedia technology and computer software, sound, background music and lights and projector headlights, like the presentation of a computer presentation only the walls, top, left-right, side as a canvas.

Van Gogh painting come to life like a movie presented there, only a few chairs and benches to accompany, play a beam of light in all directions with beautiful paintings plastered.

The exhibition itself lasted until the beginning of the first week of November 2011 and was not to be missed when visiting Singapore. About 3,000 paintings by Van Gogh from the 1890s golden period of the artist is presented to a room wall via the projector to the gallery spaces, such as The Starry Night, Potato Eaters, Self-Potrait, Still Life, Vase with Twelve Sunflowers and Vincent's Chair with His Pipe.

Who is Van Gogh? He is a great painter in the history of European art in his time, his works are dominated dark colors, though later in the process of maturity he tried to light colors. His work had made the whole world mesmerized Europe as his golden years, the Portrait of Dr. Gachet and The Round of the Prisoners.

Take the time to get there, and Van Gogh will dazzle you!
