Tomato Juice Beverage Most Preferably in a Flight
The most commonly ordered drinks by the airline passengers to relieve tension
Under conditions of altitude in the plane, apparently through a research, the Fraunhofer Society, a German research institute, was hired by the Lufthansa airline to know the food and beverage preferred/selected by the airline passengers in flight.
According to the researchers, through a space flight simulator (an Airbus A310) of the respondents consistently rate the tomato juice has a better taste in the plane than in a normal environment.
They can feel the difference, when it was at an altitude of 30,000 feet, tomato juice tastes better with a higher level of acidity and some mineral flavor that is very refreshing.
Cabin pressure are at a low point (similar to the atmosphere of a mile above sea level). Blood will be deprived of oxygen which then makes you smell and taste receptors are less sensitive. Mucus in the nasal cavity are also becoming more widespread so it is difficult to express.
The condition becomes more humid inside the cabin about 10 to 15 percent, nose and mouth is dry and reduces the sense of taste. The sweet taste becomes less sweet, salty foods become less salty, and the tongue is more difficult to taste the herbs and certain spices.
Every person - and certainly as a tourist on a journey - have different reasons for drinking tomato juice.
