The in-flight food menu can be one that many passengers wait for, even if you're on a long journey. One way to delay boredom is to enjoy every moment that goes on the plane, many ways to block boredom in the journey, so the time to enjoy the food menu on the plane can be a special entertainment for some passengers.
But. Other people may think differently, perhaps for those who know the cooking process, or it may also be a habit to eat at other eating places in the city of destination and other reasons.
Everyone can give a reason, so are they the chéfs, quoting an article on the site CNN Indonesia some time ago, say Chéf Gordon Ramsay, Ina Garten to Anthony Bourdain.
They, you can call Gordon Ramsay, he's been blatantly expressing dislike of airline-provided food, but he thinks that one of the airlines in the world does have good food.
Then he added that he never brought any supplies to enjoy during the flight.
Ina Garten in an interview to Time as quoted from Refinery 29, gave a similar opinion.
"They always have something they serve, like fruit and cheese, that's okay Delta has a really good meal in business class, based on my experience."
Garten is also known by another name, Barbara Contessa, is very careful in assessing this, she avoids certain foods, and will never eat cilantro alias coriander. Apart from coriander can be one of the spices in cooking.
"(I do not like) coriander, I do not want to go near it, and I'm interested in (objects like) eyeballs and foam."
While Gordon Ramsay has a specific reason, he has only worked in an airline for a long period, so there are certain things that become his consideration.
"I've been working for 10 years on the plane, so I know how the food was made and thrown away, and how long the food was stored before serving."
There is even a similar statement from Anthony Bourdain, in 2016, also admitted if he did not like the food served in the plane.
Bourdain is known as a culinary lover but not so for food in the airway, he never enjoyed and eat food in the plane although often traveling using the airspace.
"Nobody feels better after eating on the plane, I think people just eat it because they're bored, but I'd rather starve and not eat on the plane."
