Indofest 2012 in Adelaide Australia

This is the sixth time in the Indonesia promotional event organized by the Australia-Indonesia Association (AIA), an annual event that is always attended by approximately 10,000 people.

This event is a little different, when it comes to promoting Indonesia overseas, usually held adjacent to the Independence Day August 17, but in Indofest first held in Adelaide in April 2007, ahead of the Easter holidays.

During the day, in a park, not far from Adelaide city center, a variety of musical performances and art from several regions in Indonesia will be displayed, while some outlets selling local cuisine.

Indofest event manager, Tony Hewett, said that the AIA make every effort to hold Indofest every year. However, they still expect there are sponsors and donations for the implementation of this year's event.
