Lake Toba Festival 2013 took place in June-July

A festival is guaranteed to be festive in a giant caldera lake district, Lake Toba Festival 2013 will take place in mid-year, June 29-July 13, 2013. A festive event considering the theme of the show is different from the previous year.

This event has also received extensive promotion up to the countries in neighbors such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, and even to Europe, especially the Netherlands.

Mangindar Simbolon, Regent of the District Government of Samosir, North Sumatra, said "The Embassy in the Netherlands are also welcome and support the activities of the Lake Toba Festival."

A significant moment worthy utilized by the local government introduced the Lake Toba Festival abroad, thus promoting the attractions of the famous Toba lake in the world.

Lake Toba Festival activities will be centered at the Village Beach Rock Tour Hoda Cinta Dame, Simanindo, with the peak of the dragon boat race in the waters of Lake Toba, with participants coming from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.

It is interesting to pickle change theme of the event according to the results of coordination meetings regents / mayors around the region of Lake Toba, community leaders, nomads, and culture in the office of Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sapta Nirwandar.
