Tam Coc, Beautiful place for Meditation!

Travel serene and gentle, Tam Coc, North Vietnam! Yes, there is if you want to meditate. Pray! My friend went there in September 2010 and then when she got a leave of absence from her office, together with work friends.

Tam Coc in North Vietnam? Well, it was already known long ago, but rather as what? Are there still remnants of war in there? I'm not sure! Now this country so diligently to build for its people and try to find a better welfare.

Tam Coc itself means "three caves" and if you want to achieve it requires a small boat with a 3 hour trip along Dong Ngo river, starting in Van Lam village and walk through the beautiful scenery is dominated by lowland residents, shipping hundreds of fun with the majestic mountains surrounding limestone. Look at the left-right trip by boat will be seen floating three natural caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba).

A cave reaches more than 100m over with a ceiling height of approximately 2m above the water. Women seen by boat to sell embroidered table cloth, also appears there was a banana, coffee and others. Hoping there are buyers who need them.

My friend was so busy taking photos at the site, but she had a hard time Canon photography equipment damaged and forced to use BlackBerry smartphones to record the atmosphere and beauty of nature while boating. Even so it need not be a problem, just enjoy not all can be overcome. Haha...

The weather is great so that the image is not to be disturbed, special scenery! Residents are friendly and always smiling.

In this area can be found a large pagoda, Bich Dong near Mount Ngu Nhac, 1428, rose to the top to form the composition: Ha, Trung and Thuong Pagoda. Likewise, Phat Diem visible church. Another place for tourist destinations in the area of Ninh Binh Province, among others, and building Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the Bai Dinh Pagoda, Trang An, Cuc Phuong.

Vietnam is now much different, this country is so excited and continued to catch up from other nations. After a protracted war that swept the country. We would not expect changes there. Likewise, the tour, they are so clean and out to spoil the tourists.

Tam Coc is one of them. What makes this exotic place feel special? The atmosphere of quietness! The desire since old times for the people there to perform the prayers. So serene!

Wembley Stadium, where the 2011 Champions League Final match takes place!

No doubt last night or morning, Saturday or Sunday, May 29 2011 early morning millions of pairs of eyes witnessed the 2011 Champions League Final match between Manchester United versus FC Barcelona. Very charming!

Wembley Stadium to witness the final match. I watched from the television screen just by myself, my family has been sleeping all. It's 2 am in my country. It's okay, to eliminate the loneliness I took myself to open a social networking site facebook, there once crowded with the eye during post match report in progress. Second by second, minute by minute, goal after goal et cetera! Really surprised to see the enthusiasm of friends report any great moments that happen on a football pitch at the stadium.

I also send a posting status updates on social networking site, come on who will win?

Ah, of course the best team will win, their players are actually the best of the best, "creme de la creme".

Wembley Stadium to host so grand for supporters of both teams are great in Europe.

I got information about this stadium, Wembley Stadium is a football stadium located in Wembley Park, in the Borough of Brent, London, England. It opened in 2007 and was built on the site of the previous 1923 Wembley Stadium. The Earlier Wembley stadium, Originally Called the Empire Stadium, was Often Referred to as "The Twin Towers" and was one of the world's most famous football Tables Until its demolition in 2003. [4]

It's a category four stages of the UEFA. The 90.000-capacity venue is the Second Largest stadium in Europe, and serves as England's national stadium. It is the home venue of the England national football team, and hosts the latter stages of the top-level domestic club cup competition, the FA Cup. It is owned by Home football's governing body, the Football Association (The FA), through Their subsidiary Wembley National Stadium Ltd (WNSL).

One day in the Bunaken Park!

"Hey, where are you? I'm now in Bunaken. Whoa... the site is so great! Crazy!" a short message on my cellular phone from a friend in Manado. True, he was there to do an office job, a few days ago he went to Manado.

I just smiled, he was so enjoying his job there and apparently he made time to go to the famous Taman Nasional Bunaken (Bunaken National Park).

What is Bunaken National Park? I try to find out. Oh yes, Bunaken National Park is a marine park located in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. This park is located in the Coral Triangle, a habitat for 390 species of coral reefs as well as various species of fish, molluscs, reptiles and marine mammals. Bunaken National Park is representative of Indonesia's marine ecosystems, including sea grass, coral reefs and coastal ecosystems.

This national park was established in 1991 and covers an area of 890.65 km ². 97% of this national park is the habitat of the sea, while the remaining 3% is mainland, covering five islands: Bunaken, Manado Tua, Mantehage, Naen and Siladen.

So. My friend was certainly enjoying the atmosphere there, I know it for sure! I myself would like some time to get there, indeed according to friends who've been there the place was so exotic, so fascinating marine park with various flora and fauna and coral reefs which brings its own vibration.

Despite all the information i got and it must have been full since the park is already so well known all over the place in the world, I want to know besides me there is a Manado culinary atmosphere. Said there is the typical culinary taste second to none. Humm...

There is a special food that I remember from Manado, Manado Porridge. They call Tinotuan. Food made of rice cooked with mixed vegetables such as corn, kale, basil, and potatoes. It was savory and delicious. Taste delicious cooking water generated from sweet corn. Next porridge cooked with boiling water corn earlier. Corn that has been boiled together with other vegetables had been inserted into the porridge. Porridge is due to the influence of a yellow corn.

To be more comfortable again added shredded roa fish, fish sauce roa, roa fried salted fish, and fried onions. Fish roa is typical fish here. Why are so many fish menu there? That's because Manado is located on the seafront, then the fish is part united in their cuisine. The fish is always fresh!

My friend would go crazy in there mesmerized by the exotic nature and incomparable culinary treats. Manado is different from other cities in Indonesia.

I want to go there and try it one day. Later!

Sunda Kelapa Harbour, a Walk to Remember!

I think this is the end of the week, so I prepared everything for a walk to reduce fatigue during the week. But where are you going? Do not know the right place and I hope I passed that place at least rarely. Where?

Sunda Kelapa Harbour, Jakarta! Ah, this was an appropriate choice because I rarely and only through it alone. This place is a seaport located in the village Penjaringan, Penjaringan subdistrict, North Jakarta.

Prior to it I tried to look for information there is anything there. Old port and only ships with a screen that was there. This area is considered historic because of the villages there be a forerunner of the city of Jakarta on June 22, 1527. At that time the port of Sunda Kelapa is the capital of Sunda Kingdom in Pakuan Pajajaran or Pajajaran (now the city of Bogor) are captured by the forces of Demak and Cirebon.

This place has a long history even further in the days before, namely in the time of the Kingdom of Sunda predecessor, Kingdom Tarumanagara. Tarumanagara kingdom had been attacked and conquered by the kingdom of Srivijaya of Sumatra. Therefore, not surprising that ethnicity in the port of Sunda Kelapa Sunda using Malay language common in Sumatra, which became the national language.

Sunda Kelapa harbor has been known for centuries before and are even ignored. From the old story of the 12th century has become an important part of port transportation.

It is true so get there ancient atmosphere directly visible, the ships that rely only ship with simple equipment using a screen and pillars like watching a movie like "Pirates of The Caribbean", haha...

Also wonder why the government ignored it, but keep a long history of this port. This port is only used local people with their simple boats between islands for the nearest course. Where formerly owned maritime spirit of this nation?

Tourists purposes only?

At this time Sunda Kelapa Port with a land area of 760 hectares and 16,470 hectares of vast waters of the pool, consists of two main ports and harbors Kalibaru. The main port area of 3250 meters long and wide pool of approximately 1,200 meters which can accommodate 70 boat motor display is planned to be a tourist area because of the historical value. Currently Sunda Kelapa Harbour is one of the ports managed by PT Pelindo II that are not certified to the International Ship and Port Security because of the nature of his services only for ship service between islands.

The history of the past and is provided as one of the tourist destinations for the capital Jakarta.

There was I headed, look at the past. Many stories served!

That Orchids Already Gone...

Flowers are beautiful. Moon Orchid (Phalaenopsis amabilis) said one of the proud interest in this country. Is a research plant, Dutch botanists, Dr. C.L. Blume found him when he first came to the southern island of Borneo forest, Tanah Laut District.

Orchid species in this world exist only in three places, two places in Indonesia, the Bogor and Pelaihari, the capital city of Tanah Laut Regency, and in the Philippines. How to live his life were not uncommon, epiphytes - attached to the trunk or branches of trees in the forests and grow fast up to 600 meters above sea level.

What can I say, the name of development. The forests began encroached upon, for the sake of agricultural productivity and the magic word called development. Oh is that it? Types of flowers which crowned as the world's best interest in sex is no longer to be found again in their habitat...

The elongated green leaves. The roots of white fleshy rounded elongated feels. The flowers with little fragrance and long bloom time as if summoned to enjoy, and grow to a diameter of 10 cm more. Allured to see the beauty of the orchids of the month? Depending on the flower stems that float beautiful, meandering like a butterfly following the breeze...

As the Chairman said the Indonesian Orchid Association (PAI - Persatuan Anggrek Indonesia) in South Kalimantan, Aida Muslimah, on Saturday 4 September 2010 in Banjarmasin about the extinction of this beautiful. Pelaihari Phalaenopsis best of its kind with the special advantages, has a flowering period of between three to six months, while only one-month regular orchid.

Do not say when speaking of florets in the stalk that reached 25-50 fruit, compared with only 10-15 regular orchid petals, and many branches in the stalk, while the other orchid is only one branch ... So beautiful!

Beautiful country that always beloved, but often hurt itself. Beautiful but difficult to maintain interest, even to flowering was he so arrogantly, if so he then disappeared and will completely disappear from their natural habitat?

Beautiful coral reefs of Wakatobi...

Interested in looking for different exotic panoramic site? As far as the eye could see only the sea around us, beautiful white sandy beach, the waves hit the shoreline, a variety of marine life and unique coral reef in front... Look at the following set of island lagoons of coral atolls scattered, and rock walls with diversity of marine life composition, the unique places attracting foreign tourists and diving enthusiasts...

A set of connected islands like gems into one, located in the area called Bajo tribe people who live in the waters around the Tukang Besi Islands, absorb the beauty of the underwater Wakatobi - a series of islands join there: Wangi-Wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia, and Binongko - located in the middle of a meeting of three coral reefs of the world, will not hesitate in the heart...

What makes Wakatobi (a name derived from the acronym for the largest island before, namely Wangi-wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia, and Binongko) special is the total land area, about 97 percent of the sea. That is where its uniqueness, because only 3 percent of the land that shaped the islands...

Wakatobi is a regency in Southeast Sulawesi province had its capital in Wangi-Wangi, since December 18, 2003 with an area of 823 km². Wakatobi designated as a national park in 1996, with a total area of 1.39 million ha, about marine biodiversity, scale and condition of coral, which occupies one of the highest priority position of marine conservation in Indonesia. To achieve this...? Oohh.... There are really flights there, the airline Express Air and Susi Air also Garuda Indonesia will open a route from Jakarta to Makassar-Wakatobi trip...

Like diving? Do not worry... Dozens of dive sites can be reached easily... Take a look at the diverse marine life, colorful and majestic... There are mysteries that want to open... the best coral reefs in the world and according to observations of a few divers there, the condition of the healthiest coral reefs today, the magic The spectacular underwater...

Amazingly why it is better known abroad than at home, of course this is why... This region is famous in the United States and in England because marine biodiversity enthusiasts to be one interesting topic in the developed world... We are a country surrounded by sea, but less loved... Oh nooo? According to the regents of Wakatobi, Hugua who looked so excited when encountered and ask him to talk... It must immediately tell the specialty area that...

Wakatobi eligible to claim as a real paradise in the heart of the underwater world of coral triangle which includes the six countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Timor Leste. Wakatobi National Park has 750 types of coral reefs than 850 types of coral reefs in the world. Wakatobi recorded a species of coral reef more than countries in other world...

Of course we believe in for Mr. Hugua, given other than as a unique tourist destination, Wakatobi National Park is also a living laboratory for the world of science and research submarine, in cooperation with a number of major universities in Europe, certainly related to the marine wealth...

"Of the three centers of world-class diving, Wakatobi superior and stunning. It has been recognized worldwide. Caribbean have only 50 types of coral reefs, while the Red Sea (Egypt) have 300 types of coral reefs," explains Hugua.

Yes, Why not Mr. Hugua? With the potential of natural beauty, biological wealth under the sea, the unique local culture, and that no tourists will be forgotten is the incredible culinary pleasures ..., Wakatobi has a 'suami' (husband in English) that can be eaten ... Hahaaa .... Moreover, this? 'Suami' who could eat the rollicking tune at the Wakatobi citizens as soami, made from grated sweet woods. Once they are mixed in such a way, it turns out, if eaten, taste delicious far defeated cassava... Yummy... ;)

Enjoy the Bajo village atmosphere that is built upon the sea, known as a tough sailor and unique way to catch fish only with a spear. Moreover... Ooohh .... Woven cloth handicrafts local residents can also be obtained, cheap price... Not bad... Hahaaa... Not really very expensive...

In Kaledupa, known craft is Wuray sarongs and folding mats. If you stop by the Binongko Island, there are groups of the iron craftsman. From these craftsmen, Wakatobi archipelago known as the Tukang Besi islands. Diversity of flora and fauna so spoil the eye...

We certainly think it would be futile if not optimized this privilege should be able... and natural resources are extraordinary, including coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass, fish spawning areas, marine mammals, birds migration, turtle nesting, and coastal fish... Wow... Try it if the opportunity to see for themselves it's all... During this Wakatobi actually exploited tens of thousands of researchers to investigate its biodiversity. And do not be surprised if the results of their research will be trafficked into the country of origin. Meanwhile, local residents would not be able to enjoy the results.

Mr. Hugua has plan that in part has come true to build an international marine research center at Wakatobi and expectations of this research center will attract the number of tourists who come to Wakatobi and move the economy in the region...

Sure did not hesitate Sir... When all in a well package tour package, Indonesia it is not only Bali at all?

Interested to get there?

Bandung and The Green Forest, Back to Nature - Part 1

One of my favorite places to spend the holiday weekend is the city of Bandung, West Java, which can be reached in about 2 hours from Jakarta via toll road orientation. The plan vacations this time, we just want to relax enjoy the hotel facilities are available, such as swimming, enjoying the hotel smooth mattress while watching TV or just sitting on a bench near the pool, reading a novel, and order a cup of warm drinks and serving of pancakes and exercise in the morning days, with gardens surrounding the hotel are spacious. After pocketing the hotel voucher at a reasonable price side, we finally stayed at a hotel in Dago area.

To be able to enjoy a relaxing holiday, this time I accidentally left the laptop at home, in order to really be able to enjoy a holiday, not disturbed by the e-mail from the boss that could come at any time, refrain for online activities. When I saw the internet facilities near the hotel lobby, I was almost tempted to take advantage of these facilities to surf fun ...

Prior to the hotel, we stopped first at a restaurant located in Dago, next to the factory outlet, Kedai Timbel Dago, restaurant occupies the area of the house that also functions as a residence and restaurant, and is served directly by the owner, as the name of food which became a favorite restaurant is the complete lead rice - nasi timbel, rice wrapped in banana leaves, fish sauce, tofu and a choice of fried chicken or obese, and vegetables plus young pumpkin boiled half cooked and the sauces, if still less can be added with sour vegetables, petai grilled/fried. This restaurant closed at 16.00, actually it's not my first visit, but every time he saw rice this lead, I always forgot to take his picture, fitting already sold out just remembered, yes forgetfulness for taking photos...

After checking into the hotel, we relaxed for a moment a nap while watching television, finally we satisfy ourselves that afternoon for a swim in the hotel pool. In the evening we had dinner at Dago Valley, which is interesting here besides the food is delicious, over dinner, we can see the sights of the city of Bandung at night, with twinkling lights that adorn the city of Bandung, and staring at the sky with moon and the stars that shine at night, especially if you fit a full moon, Humm... It was very fun...

The next morning before breakfast, I used the time to sport exercise around park that has been made tracks for jogging for 45 minutes, huumm.. enough, which is important out sweat, after that we went back to my room to shower in the morning and proceed to breakfast in the hotel, next is to relax by sitting on a bench near the pool, reading a novel a tale of adventure and humanitarian missions, the novel quite thick around 600 page, but if indeed the intention of the novel should be finished in 2-3 days because of the time sit back there for less than 2 hours, I've completed 100 pages ...

In the afternoon, we visit the factory outlets Rumah Mode Setiabudi, which is a favorite place of Jakarta residents and tourists from neighboring countries to shop there, if we are diligent search among the stacks and hangers and trousers, we can find branded goods made in other countries and tilted at a reasonable price. On certain days, such as Lebaran holiday, new year, usually at the factory outlets there are singers band from the city of Bandung, the voice and the music is not lost with Indonesian musicians and singers on board. Oh yes.. along this road there is another factory outlet and house shoes Donatello, nice and durable shoe model and price is also affordable...

The next event is a lunch at the Bumbu Desa, located next to Rumah Mode Setiabudi, the menu is selected this time nasi liwet (savory rice with a sprinkling of small anchovies and wrapped in banana leaves), squid, shrimp, sliced into small pieces with red chilli, bakwan corn, vegetables and crackers ointment. Oooppss... this time do not remember for food photos, frankly more often the food is not photographed, unless indeed there is no intention from the beginning to make an image, or unique food. Beside Bumbu Desa other choice addition, for food culinary are Eaton, Bali CafĂ©, Coffee House and Pizza House.

We can also buy a variety of light snacks to souvenirs or eat at places such as cassava chips, potato chips, sweet chips, peanut brittle, cheese sticks, nougat and other snacks and beverages in packaging, which is located next to the Bumbu Desa...

Actually there are many others scattered factory outlet in Bandung, since we did not plan to buy clothes, we decided to continue the trip to Lembang...

Continue..... Bandung and The Green Forest, Back to Nature - Part 2

Tanjung Lesung, The Joy of a Backpacker to Get There!

After traveling around 4 hours from Jakarta, finally arrived in the area of marine tourism Tanjung Lesung. Tanjung Lesung itself is located on the west coast of the Sunda Strait region, precisely in the village of Tanjung Jaya, Pandeglang - Banten. With the enchanting beauty that glows blue sea and white sand spread wide, making it the perfect place to refresh the soul.

Enjoy the beauty of the sea is so beautiful and very clear sea water, so that we can see the fish swim through coral reefs, refresh our minds after facing all the fatigue of everyday...

Travel can be reached from Jakarta-Merak toll road, exit the toll booth of East Serang. We must pass through the town of Serang, leading to the city Pandeglang and Labuan, as he continues to follow the instructions to follow the Tanjung Lesung. From the city of Serang, Banten provincial capital, there are buses that go directly to Tanjung Lesung. If we want a back packer, we must take a bus to attack first, then continued on to Tanjung Lesung, with bus Damri leading tourist sites Tanjung Lesung.

Tanjung Lesung is a resort area which involves a series of several hotels, villas and water sport areas. The roads in this area surrounded by trees that shade. Shortly into the main gate, was designed like atmosphere in Nusa Dua, Bali, in the form of clusters of villas, hotels, sports facilities such as areas of golf, fishing, and other beach activities. Some coconut trees are also wearing black gloves boxes, such as in Bali.

Infrastructure in this tourist complex is sufficient, ie paved roads wide and smooth enough. Very different from the way governments go to this tourist area, especially from the direction of Anyer - Karang Bolong, Carita-Labuhan, several roads damaged very badly ..

Various water sports activities there are here, such as banana boat, jet ski, to the adventurous search for coastal cliffs. Tanjung Lesung outbound game will also have facilities that are very interesting and well worth a try ...

Pulau Kelor, an Unique Challenges Island!

Let's go into this group of islands which includes Kepulauan Seribu, North Jakarta. The small island uninhabited and empty. Throughout the eye could see white sand spread around the island. It was empty, there is absolutely no homes and other facilities such as toilets, clean water sources, electricity and others.

What remains are the ruins of fortress walls and half of the fort buildings relatively intact. The location of this castle on the beach, and has seen efforts to save the building parapet and stone breakwater that intentionally installed so that abrasion of sea water is not directly upon the fort.

Do not expect the dock here, but this is where the element of adventure! Fun! It's hard for ship / boat docked on the island. We must pass plank that intentionally installed by a boatman. Wooden banister was very manual, with bamboo rods that are held by 2 people boatman. This way it can to visit her, although should the morning when the waves are not large and the situation is ebb.

The remains of the dock is visible, but practically unusable because of damage.

When the waves are big, the island is not possible to accommodate. The ship could hit the island that contains the breakwater rocks or hit the damaged pier. Can also ship toppled because of the waves does not allow the front of the boat touched the sandy beach on the mainland island.

Historically, this island was once indeed the grave of the Dutch, but now it is not visible traces of the cemetery sign.

Another thing that is unique on the island Kelor is a cat the same color and all twins. We will be shocked to see from a distance like a monkey was seen clearly apparently tangible cat. I do not know where these cats get food and breed on this island, the island filled with a herd of empty cat.

In the fortress there are holes in the clothes hanging, apparently there are some people who speculate with fishing on the island. Search the fish is still done with a very simple, namely by casting nets manually by submerge themselves directly into the sea which is about waist deep. I do not know how frequently visited the island, because during a visit to this island, we only ship that docked on the sand.

Nevertheless, Pulau Kelor is interesting to visit because the atmosphere is very exotic, namely with the establishment of the fort that still remains and white sand extend. Wooowwww ....... For female visitors beware, because here there is absolutely no toilet facilities. There is also no shade when the rain arrived. It's inconvenient but want to find a new challenge, haha... Imagine if heavy rains and storms accompanied by lightning, how is the atmosphere on this island? Unique challenges!
