Travel with the Titanic II began in 2016
Really fun when news happens in 2016 as a replica of the legendary ship, The Titanic may soon be boarded and then through all the routes that have passed.
An Australian entrepreneur - Clive Palmer and a shipyard in China - "Jinling Shipyard" in Nanjing city, reached an agreement to create a replica of the Titanic with the same size as the original.
Ship design, which claimed the exact same with the original Titanic, involving a consortium including the Norwegian company, Deltamarin.
Citing news agency Xinhua, Director of Jinling, Ge Biao said, "It is very difficult to duplicate a luxury yacht. However, Jinling Shipyard has a history of building various types of ships for 60 years with high quality."
The vessel will have a length of 270 meters and 53 meters high. This vessel consists of nine levels and 840 rooms that can accommodate 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members. Equipped with the latest technology, including communication and safety systems that meet the best standards of modern navigation, explained spokesman Jinling Shipyard, Li Wenbao.
The vessel is scheduled for completion in 2016, will then sail to England and getting ready for its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, repeated trips Titanic in 1912 and ended in tragedy.
As we know from the story of the sinking ship tragedy in its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912 after hitting an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean while sailing towards New York, USA. A sad note in the history of world shipping as 1523 passengers and crew became casualties.
