Jakarta still one of the favorite tourist destinations

Jakarta is known as the city that is often hit by floods at certain seasons of the year and also the traffic jamm in its office hours, needless to say further. People soon find out. But instead it's not a big problem for potential tourists, especially for foreign tourists.

"It is well known for Jakarta floods and traffic jams. But do not forget, the problem was, it turns out Jakarta become favorite tourist destination in Asia," according to Sapta Nirwandar, from the Ministry of Tourism, April 29, 2013, at an event in Jakarta, citing news from travelKompas.

Is there really an unique thing in this town? Of course! Tourist icons suitable for sale and was introduced to other countries, such as the international marathon event, Jakarta Marathon 2013, in October 27, 2013, attended by 5000-10000 participants from 15-20 countries. Jakarta become a good host and it’s a safe visit by the international community.

Local governments are working hard to provide better infrastructure, especially in the Old Town area, the area of Fatahillah Square, Toko Merah (Red Store), Jembatan Kota Intan (Diamond City Bridge), Menara Syahbandar (Syahbandar Tower), the Maritime Museum to the Sunda Kelapa Harbor.

Traffic jams and flooding has become a part of this city, which occurred at certain times of the season. Choosing the right time excursions, can certainly be a good decision for the tourists.
