World Super Swim present at Lake Toba Festival 2013

An extreme sports event in a lake on the island of Sumatra, World Super Swim where participants will swim around the island of Samosir far as 117 km. This event will take place early September (the original plan mid-year - July) and be attractive because the participants attended a number of national long distance swimmer and world.

This was stated by the chairman of the committee Mangindar Simbolon on socialization and exposure readiness Lake Toba Festival 2013 (FDT 2013) in Medan, Thursday, August 22, 2013.

"Race around the island of Samosir is not endless, but it is divided into eleven stages and takes about three days and two nights."

The competition, which was held for the first time it will be followed by four long-distance swimmer the world, namely Thomas Lurz (Germany), Spyridon Giannotis (Greece), Grimaldi (Italy) and Poliana (Brazil).

People who attend as well as local residents can take part in the event series of "Free the People" as far as 500 meters with more than 1,000 participants.

The festival formerly called Lake Toba Party, later changed to Lake Toba Festival to include elements of sport. Besides swimming, paragliding and also be contested traditional rowing (Solu Bolon).

An event that continues to evolve into one of the world-class event and the iconic national tourism in the region.
