Free from pollution and crowds of vehicles, crystal-clear sea water, and clean white sand. This is typical of the island of Gili Trawangan. Gili Trawangan is located in the northwest of the island of Lombok and included in North Lombok.


The only transportation to Gili Island is by the sea. If the speedboat ride from the Gulf of Kodek on the island of Lombok, sea travel about 10 minutes. To Gili Trawangan can also go through Bali, namely riding fastboat from Padangbai in Karangasem, Bali. So no wonder many tourists from Bali opted for brothels in Gili Trawangan.

In Gili Trawangan no motorcycles or cars. Relax, you do not have to bother to pull the suitcase from the port to the place of stay. Therefore, there the cidomo on this island.


Cidomo is the only transportation on the island. Like delman or andong (traditional transportation horse-drawn transport), cidomo is a train pulled by a horse (but the wheels using a car tire). Alternatively if you want to surround Gili Trawangan is by riding a bicycle. But be careful because the bike and the sand is not a good combination.

In Gili Trawangan there are a lot of interesting activities you can do. You can ride horses around the island. Or, if you want cheaper to rent a bike and go to the center of downtown Gili Trawangan on the east side of the island in search of food. It could also just around the island by bicycle.


Another activity that should and must do is snorkeling and diving on Gili Indah. Gili Indah consists of three islands of Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. Sea water in Gili Indah is so blue. Especially in the middle of the hot sun, the sea water as if tempting wanted to dive. The sea water is so clear that the depth of 10 to 15 meters can still be seen clearly.

Night at Gili Trawangan can be so dark and quiet, especially at the sides of the island such as the west and north of the island. But don’t worry because this island is very safe and everyone take care of each other.


If you want to find pleasure in the evening, you can go to the east of Gili Trawangan. Here, you can find an assortment of restaurants, generally seafood restaurant, which is located on the beach.
