Ngurah Rai Airport Closed during Nyepi Day

Something similar happened at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar, Bali will experience closures for 24 hours.
Starting on March 31, 2014 at 06.00 until the date of 1 April 2014 at 06.00 local time. A total of 400 scheduled flights dispensed consisting of 248 domestic flights and 152 international flights.

Citing news from a tourist site, travelKompas, Co. GM's Ngurah Rai Airport, I Gusti Ngurah Ardita said, "Although it is not in operation, but we still will alert personnel to anticipate the technical application for landing or emergency landing, including medical evacuation."

Last planned flight landed before closing the airport is Malaysian Airline - MH867 from Kuala Lumpur on March 31, 2014 02:35 hours.
