Caci Dance that Thrill You!

The dance is performed by a pair of male dancers who fight with a whip and shield in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. This 'war dance' event will complement the Festival Komodo in May 2014 in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai.

Describing the atmosphere of a traditional war between villages in the past, but this time the Caci Dance has become the local traditional people celebration of the harvest season (hang woja - local term) and the new year ritual (penti - local term).
