Local government of Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta continue to make infrastructure improvements sights along the increasing tourist traffic to the region.

Head of Culture and Tourism Gunungkidul, Sujarwo, citing news from a tourist site, travelKompas, Wednesday, May 21, 2014, said about infrastructure improvements around the tourist attraction and tourist village.

"Improving infrastructure sights ranging from widening the road to the parking area continues to be done by local financial capacity," he said.

The focus of the work in Kukup Beach is the parking lot, and support facilities in other virgin beaches, such as Krakal, Sundak, Baron, also the Pindul caves, and village tourism of Kalisuci.
