STREAM Project Solutions for Tourist Destinations with Weather Changes
A solution for the tourism industry in the vulnerable region to climate and weather change, as a result of cooperation between the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) Indonesia and and becoming a fundamental requirement for world tourism in general.
Project STREAM in Pangandaran
STREAM project, known as Suistainable Tourism through Energy Efficiency with Adaptation and Mitigation Measures be a way out for tourist destinations in anticipation of climate change.
Citing articles at a tourist site, travelKompas, Marcio Favilla, Executive Director for Institutional Relations and Operational Proggrammes at a news conference in Hotel Sari Pan Pacific, Jakarta, Monday, May 5, 2014, said, "This project is part of the International Climate Initiative supported by the German Ministry for the environment, nature conservation and nuclear safety buildings that adopt a global approach in developing low-carbon tourism."
