The festive performances of Lake Sentani Festival 2014

Event that invites participation interest of inland tribes from different parts of the island of Papua, has even become one of the annual tourism agenda. The highlight of Lake Sentani Festival 2014 (FDS - Festival Danau Sentani), which lasted from June 19 and will end on June 23, 2014.

Dozens of exhibition booths and kiosks that provide typical local culinary neat, like papeda wrap with a side dish of fried catfish along the entrance to the arena.


The Papuan War Dancer

Isosolo dance, a traditional dance on a boat that is commonly performed by dancers from different villages in the coastal lake, a number of performances and action painting on bark. Pleasant sight for foreign tourists who were present at the event.


The making of Tifa Drums

Community come from different villages of Papua hinterland - gathered at the site of Khalkote shoreline.
