The Old Town of Jakarta towards the UNESCO recognition

Jakarta is having a lot of activities on June associated with the city's anniversary on June 22, the city continues to transform itself, so it deserves to be one of tourist destination in Southeast Asia.

On the other side of the Old Town of Jakarta has potential as a legacy of the past, the city government is very serious about the revitalization of this region. The goal besides being one of the leading tourist cities, with the initial stages is included in the UNESCO world heritage nomination, then of course the official recognition of that UN body.

Of course being a great job day in and day out in coordination with UNESCO to fulfill the criteria and requirements put forth by UNESCO.

The long journey towards official recognition, such as some of the old cities in the world that has been recognized as well known to tourists, such as Galle in Sri Lanka, Willemstead in Curacao (Caribbean), and Paramaribo in Suriname.
