Canai Bread in 'Kopitiam Oey' Sabang Street

The place to eat seems designed for visitors who want to just relax, typical places in the big cities and are not impressed to become fancy, anyone are welcomes.

"Kopitiam Oey" ('kopi' from coffee and 'tiam' from Hokkien, means 'inn' or 'stalls') in Jalan Sabang, Jakarta occupies an ancient building with the Chinese ancient era interior, a few frames photographs and paintings in the walls, the ceilings are high enough decorated with lights in the bird cage covered in red cloth. Creating a beam of light is not too strong illuminate the visitors who were enjoying coffee in a simple wooden chairs.

Diverse menu offerings such as gado-gado Bonbin, Tjilatjap chicken satay, soto Tangkar, lontong Tjap Gomeh, Brijani chicken rice, supplemented snacks like spring rolls, Dutch croquettes, Banana Flambe, Chicken Curry Canai Bread, Dutch Bread Eggs, French Toast (Roti Bakar Prantjis).

Menu is not complete until we've seen what kind of drinks there, such as ijs coffee, ijs Daon Mint Tea, ijs coffee soesoe Indotjina, ijs Cappucino.

Let's say we just want to relax and do not want to full the stomach, try this cool menu, Chicken Curry Canai Bread.

The culinary that originally came from India, precisely Chennai, a city in India which is formerly known as Madras, also called as Channa, a dish made with boiled chickpeas in a spicy gravy from northern India which this type of bread was traditionally served.

Dishes contained in this resto certainly has a modified recipe, a diet rich in spices, when eaten, whole wheat bread fried in butter it was very tasty and crunchy. Add a splash of chicken curry soup together, "Wow, it feels, so delicious!"

On the tongue there was a stinging smell of spices, particularly cardamom spice, pepper and cinnamon are a little warm and refreshing. Combined with the curry flavor is tasty and not too spicy to make it more delicious dish, especially when enjoyed in the evening or when it rains. Really refreshing!
